Custom orders are now being accepted.  Lead time is approximately 6 weeks.  I also try to keep a few finished knives on the 'Available' page.

I have been making knives since 1999, and plan to make them full time when I retire from my job as a computer tech in 2010.  I now  spend about 30 hours a week in the knife shop.

Every knife sold is completely hand made in my shop by my hands.

Almost everyone who has one of my knives buys another.  I consider this the highest form of praise.

Most of my sheaths are made by my friend Sandy Morrissey.  Sandy lives in Georgia and has been making exquisite sheaths for about 60 years.  One of his latest was for the U.S. Secret Service, for a presentation fishing knife for President Bush [Jr]. Sandy will sometimes make a sheath for a new customer.

Mostly organic handle materials like Antler, Bone and highly figured woods are used.

You may notice that the finish dates run in batches.  The knives are made one at a time, but they are not sharpened and final buffed until they come back with their new sheaths.  They are sent to Sandy in batches, as soon as five or six individual knives are ready.

While still making a few High-Carbon and Stainless steel knives, Damascus Forge-Welded steel is becoming my steel of choice.
